The City
Caxias do Sul is located in the south of Brazil, in Rio Grande do Sul state, in the area known as “Serra Gaucha” (the hills). With their 400 thousand inhabitants, it is the headquarters of a prosperous area integrated by 53 municipal districts that together, amount a total population of a million people. It possesses a diversified industrial park and it is highly develop in metal-mechanic, electro-electronic, viticulture and automotive sectors.
The area also stands out internationally due to the production of wine. In the education area, Caxias has one of the best-considered regional universities of the country; the University of Caxias do Sul.

The Structure
Eighth Brazilian club in equity, one of the smallest percentile debt on the patrimony, constant growth in the number of associates, continuous investment in youth program and training centers. E.C. Juventude is a soccer club with a good structure and administration.
The Training Center
Esporte Clube Juventude have an area of 300 thousand square meters with the whole necessary infrastructure. Located about five minutes from downtown, the training center offers a complete structure.
The Juventude’s training center provides 7 soccer fields FIFA standarts. The players enjoy the complete structure and skilled staff.
Youth Development Programme
The youth programme in Esporte Clube Juventude count on 95 players on all categories (U15, U17 and U20), 30% of the professional group are composed by athletes formed in the youth programme of the club.Through trips of exchanges with other teams, of other countries, the players have an opportunity to develop at other soccer schools, in the same way that the foreign athletes that the Club receives have the privilege of learning in one of the most traditional clubs in the Brazil.All the players in the youth program have the whole support and attendance for their own development. The club has a Technical/Scientific department with a professional staff of medicine, physiology, physiotherapy, nutrition, social attendance, psychology, preparation and physical recovery, among others.
Soccer Academies
This is one of the most successful projects regadings the implementation of soccer academies in Brazil, where the young boys are familiarised with Juventude’s methodology to developing young soccer players.At the schools, children and youngsters learn the first soccer lessons.
The first aim is to get the kids to start practicing soccer, as they start showing some progress a chance on Juventude’s youth team is given so the dream to become a professional soccer player can be true. The academies contemplate several levels of the youth categories as follows: U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17. All the teachers of the academies have been trained by Juventude’s skilled staff.

Juventude is proud to be such a faithful and passionate supporter that everyday wins more force and prominence. The club counts more than 8 thousand associated fans that motivates and helps to develop the club in their several activities.In 2006 Juventude was chosen as the club with more beautiful women present at the stadium. It was published in the VIP Magazine.

Big companies are investing in the main Brazilian clubs, looking for an exploration of the their brands, rights of television appearence and merchandising.
